One event at least every 3 weeks for a 3-month season, then a month off before the next one. That rhythm is what makes it work — regulars form, rivalries develop, word spreads. There's flexibility, but consistency is what keeps people coming back. The tools handle scoring, leaderboards, and rank cards automatically, so you're really just showing up and running the room.
It's co-branded — “TechGames London Chess, hosted by [Your Community].” Your name is on the league and the league's name is on your events. Both brands grow together. Think of it like a local club joining a national league.
They don't need to be. These are social game nights, not esports. Chess, poker, and Catan are excuses to hang out — most people come for the people, not the game. If your community likes meeting other founders, this works.
A venue helps, but we can help you find one. For equipment — most hosts already have what they need. If not, we'll work with you to get set up before your first event.
